About me
Welcome to an introduction to my professional life and the values that underlie my work as a psychologist. Respect, empathy and a deep understanding of the individual's experiences are the core of my work. My goal is to create a safe space where you can feel seen, heard and supported in your journey towards a life that feels meaningful to you.
I am a licensed psychologist, trained at Aarhus University, and work with methods such as ACT, cognitive therapy and a neuroaffective approach. These methods are effective because they build a bridge between insight and concrete tools, so that you both get a deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings and actions and the opportunity to create meaningful changes. For example, ACT helps to deal with difficult thoughts and feelings in a flexible way, while the neuroaffective approach strengthens the understanding of how our early experiences and nervous system affect our well-being and relationships.
In my work, it is always you as a person who is at the center. The methods are tools that we use to meet your unique needs and create the best possible support for your journey.
Since 2012, I have had the pleasure of helping people create a life that feels meaningful and in balance. Through my work, I have learned that many challenges in life often have roots in deeper emotional or relational patterns. These can be difficult to understand and process alone, but in therapy together we can create insight into how they affect your life. By working with these patterns, we can find new paths that bring you closer to a life in harmony with your values and desires.
In order to be able to offer the best possible support, I place emphasis on continuously expanding my knowledge and keeping up with developments in psychology. This allows me to meet my clients with both insight and understanding.
New perspectives
Born in 1973, I bring a mix of life experience and academic insight to my practice. My path has not only been marked by clinical work with the individual, but also by valuable years at the Danish Working Environment Authority, where I have contributed to creating a more sustainable working environment. This experience underscores my belief that workplace wellness is essential to our overall quality of life.
In my work with you, I am concerned with how we can together support you in finding and maintaining your balance on your preferred life path. I am deeply committed to a dialogue where together we bring your values and efforts to light, because when it is clear to us what is important on our personal path, and we know what it takes to stay on that way - even when our journey is disrupted - then the road becomes more passable.
