As a psychologist, I offer a wide range of support and guidance.

My support is aimed at helping people navigate various life challenges.

Stress and strain reactions

Stress and Stress Reactions Stress and stress reactions can arise when life's demands feel overwhelming, and the body's and mind's alert system remains activated. This can affect your quality of life, health, and ability to manage daily life.

Support and Treatment I offer support and treatment for those experiencing stress or other stress-related reactions. Through talk therapy, I help you gain clarity on what is weighing you down and how we can work together to reduce stress. Together, we develop strategies to manage the triggering factors, restore your energy, and rebuild your mental balance, so you can regain a sense of calm, strength, and well-being.

Anxiety

Anxiety can take up a lot of space in your life and create a sense of insecurity, making it difficult to live the way you want. You may experience excessive worry, panic attacks, or a constant restlessness that limits your daily life. No matter how your anxiety manifests, help is available.

Understanding and Managing Anxiety Our conversations are based on your unique experiences and what matters most to you. Together we create a safe space where you can explore your anxiety and discover new ways to manage it. The goal is for you to regain a sense of calm and freedom so that anxiety no longer controls your life.

Depression

Depression can drain energy and make it difficult to find joy in things that used to matter. It can feel like a heavy shadow that makes everyday life unmanageable. But even when everything seems hopeless, it is possible to find a way forward.

I offer support to those who experience depressive symptoms, and together we work to create small steps towards more energy, joy and meaning in life. The conversations are based on your needs and help you to break free of the patterns and thoughts that keep you stuck. The goal is to build strategies that support a lasting recovery and make it possible to live a life that feels worthwhile.

Healing from neglect

For those who have experienced neglect in childhood or later in life, I offer support to process the trauma and rebuild emotional security. Neglect can leave deep emotional wounds, affecting self-worth, relationships, and the ability to trust others. Many struggle with feelings of emptiness, loneliness, or difficulty setting boundaries. Our conversations focus on strengthening self-esteem, creating inner balance, and developing resilience. Together we explore ways to heal past wounds and build healthier emotional connections, so you can live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Grief

Grief is a natural part of life, but when the loss is great, it can feel almost impossible to find a new balance. Grief is not about getting over the loss, but about finding a way through it, a way where the pain has a place and where life can gradually be rebuilt on new terms.

Grief can occur in many different situations. It can be the loss of a loved one, a relationship, health, job or life dreams. Everyone experiences grief differently, and there is no right or wrong way to grieve.

I offer a safe space where you can share your grief and get support to find a new balance in life. Together, we work to ensure that you can make room for both the sadness and the joy, so that you can create a future that feels meaningful - with everything you carry with you.

Relatives of addicted loved ones

Being a relative of a loved one with an addiction can be an immense emotional burden. It can bring feelings of sadness, frustration, and powerlessness, while your own needs are often neglected. Finding space for yourself and your well-being can feel difficult when someone close to you is struggling.

Strengthening your own well-being. I offer support for those affected by a loved one's addiction. Our conversations focus on helping you set healthy boundaries, take care of yourself, and find the strength to navigate the difficult emotions that arise. If it is something you wish to explore, we can also work on understanding the dynamics of addiction, so you can support your loved one in the best way possible while prioritizing your own well-being and balance.

Individual therapy

I offer individual therapy for both adults and young people facing various challenges, such as anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, life crises, or personal development goals. Whether you are struggling with difficult emotions, seeking clarity in a challenging situation, or wanting to work on personal growth, therapy can provide a safe space for reflection and change. Each therapy process is tailored to your unique needs. We work together to explore your experiences, identify underlying patterns, and find practical strategies that support your well-being. The goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and create a life that aligns with your values and aspirations.

Crisis management

When life hits with big changes or difficult experiences, it can feel like everything comes to a standstill. Trauma, loss, divorce, serious illness or other life crises can create a sense of chaos and powerlessness. It is in such moments that it can be helpful to get support to find your footing again.

As a psychologist, I offer a safe and unprejudiced space where we can examine together what is at stake in your crisis. We work to understand and process the feelings and reactions that may arise, and look at how you can find strength and calm in the midst of the difficult.

My goal is not necessarily to give you answers or solutions, but to support you in finding your own way through the crisis. Together, we work to create an everyday life that can once again feel meaningful and to live in, step by step.

Personal development and self-esteem

Personal development and a healthy self-esteem are the foundations for creating the life you want. Perhaps you feel that your confidence is failing or that you are stuck in old patterns that prevent you from taking the steps you dream of.

I offer courses where we work together to strengthen your belief in yourself and your abilities. We explore your strengths and resources and help you set clear, realistic goals for your development. Through this process, you can achieve a greater sense of contentment, courage and balance, which makes it easier to create the positive changes you want in life.

Support for young people

Adolescence can be both exciting and challenging. It is a time when you develop your identity, navigate social relationships and try to find your place in the world. At the same time, demands from school, education and surroundings can feel overwhelming, and it can be difficult to find the balance.

I offer a safe and confidential space for young people who experience challenges such as stress, uncertainty, conflicts in relationships or psychological difficulties. Here there is room to talk about what matters, without fear of being judged. Together we work to find ways to deal with the problems, discover strengths and create an everyday life where you feel more secure and comfortable in yourself.

My goal is to support young people in finding ways to well-being and development, so that they can feel equipped to face life's many opportunities and challenges.

Approach

To support you in your development and process of change, I use an integrated approach that combines Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), cognitive therapy, and neuroaffective strategies. This combination helps create a safe and reflective space where we can explore and understand different aspects of your emotions, experiences, and personality together. By working with both thoughts, emotions, and bodily signals, therapy can foster a deeper awareness and lasting change.

I believe that a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation for personal growth and transformation. Feeling secure and supported is essential in order to explore the deeper layers of your thoughts and experiences. In our conversations, we focus on creating an atmosphere of acceptance, curiosity, and respect, so that you can feel comfortable engaging in the process at your own pace.

My goal is to support you in coping with your current challenges while also helping you move toward a life that feels more authentic and meaningful.

Testimonials

  • Maria
Lisbeth has been an invaluable support for me for a long period, when life has hit me repeatedly. She is the first psychologist I have met who not only hears my words, but also senses what lies behind the words. She has created trust and a safe space where I can say anything. Nothing is wrong. Nothing is too big or small. Nothing is too hard. A good chemistry was quickly created between us, which has been fertile ground for a long-term process. Lisbeth has challenged me and pushed me, but always at a pace that suited me. When doubts about my abilities and the psychology course have struck me, she has always given room to the doubts, but she has also supported me and picked me up. She has clarified my reaction and thought patterns and then shown me how to deal with them in a better way. I lived a life where the world felt harsh and unforgiving. She showed me there was another world full of possibilities and dreams. She has made me realize what I am capable of as a person.   Above all, she has seen me as the person I am. She adapted the therapy to fit me, rather than me fitting the therapy. I am still on my way to a better life, but with Lisbeth's help I am continuing in the right direction.
